THE CONCEPT

The name BUOY is a metaphor for the resilience of students navigating life, steady and visible amidst shifting waters. This metaphor extends into every layer of the product.

Every feature in BUOY is anchored to campus events, because the destination matters as much as the ride.

Floaties land on a personalized home showing upcoming rideshares to join. Every card is an opportunity, a concert, a career fair, a celebration.

THE EXHIBITION

BUOY came to life as an interactive exhibition. Visitors picked a color-coded buoy matching their perceived level of impact, wrote their story, placed it in a clear capsule, and dropped it into a miniature ocean, creating a physical sea of shared experiences.
